Wow! What an effort!

The Gacha community is infamous for all kinds of things, and one of these things is the usage of TV shows, films and video games such as Five Nights at Freddy's, The Promised Neverland, Kakegurui, etc.

List of shows commonly used by the Gacha Community[edit | edit source]

  • Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir
  • Five Nights at Freddy's
  • The Promised Neverland
  • My Hero Academia
  • Naruto
  • Kakegurui
  • South Park
  • Baldi's Basics
  • Amanda the Adventurer
  • The Loud House
  • Total Drama
  • Teen Titans Go!

Why It Sucks[edit | edit source]

  1. For starters, these videos are notorious for mixing Gacha Heat with other media. This is a huge problem since they usually use children's video games and TV shows, such as The Loud House
  2. Another huge problem with these videos is that they're mostly unfaithful to the media they're based on, and barely follow their premises.
  3. As always, these videos are low quality, with no effort made.
  4. Awful choices of TV shows, GachaTubers and TikTokers not only use the good/decent/average TV shows, but they also use mediocre/bad ones like Magical Girl Site (despite being technically a manga), Citrus, Teen Titans Go!, Yandere Simulator, etc.
  5. If that wasn't enough, these will even destroy more the reputation of shows that already suffered from a decline in ratings thanks to seasonal rot. A good example of this is Total Drama.
  6. Flanderization is rampant here, since most GachaTubers's portrayals of the characters are a far cry and act nothing like the original counterparts. A great example of this Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
  7. Cringy content is also rampant here.
  8. Sometime, the creators can get the character designs to be highly inaccurate. (Take the Henry Stickmin characters for example)

Redeeming Qualities[edit | edit source]

  1. Overall, there are some good GachaTubers, TikTokers and good videos that remain faithful to the source materials.
  2. Some videos are actually better than the source material itself like Teen Titans Go!, which, despite still being slice-of-life, it makes the show even better (most of the time).
