Bruh, hiding your scars with a fake smile isn't going to make anything better.

Tag, You're It! is a Gacha Life meme that was a trend between January-March 2021. There are two versions: The first version consisted about bullies beating up a guy/girl who at first seems emotionless, until when he/she talked to his/her friend, he/she removed his/her fake mask, revealing all the scars he/she has; the second version consisted of bullies stopping the victim and take their diary and they read and speak out loud, until it's revealed that the victim was suffering. This page will focus on the first version.

Why It Lost at Tag!

1. This meme is notorious for being very mean-spirited. Why on earth would someone hide a face that's full of scars with a fake smile mask?!
2. The bullies are the worst characters as they take advantage of the protagonist and one of them even pushed them from the roof.
3. This meme portrays bullying unrealistically.

Redeeming Qualities

1. Like in every trend, there are well-edited videos.
2. Thankfully, this isn't a very popular trend and it died out very quickly.
3. The protagonist and the friend are sympathetic/likeable characters.
